32 page children’s books. Page design, photo selection and vector graphics following National Geographic Kids EMW brand guidelines. Books completed: Kangaroos and Ducklings. Books that were in progress: Flowers and Safari. (Series has now been cancelled.) Because of photographer copyrights page layouts can not be presented on my website.
MARYLAND ZOO
Along with volunteering at the Maryland Zoo, I did graphics work for them. This was a fun pocket-sized summer camp “vintage passport” for kids to get stamped as they experienced the zoo. With only a 2-color budget, I chose a rich brown and teal to print on a flax linen stock. Some of the photos I had taken myself years earlier on safari.
